Hello, we are Claudia and Giulio.

Giulio was born and raised here, and I moved to Florence after traveling for a few years. I’m a mom and a wife. I love walking, dancing, reading, and being amazed every day by the wonders of the world. Being with people and for the people. I enjoy solving situations and helping others “get” in touch.

SAFER was the name of my in-laws’ building materials company where they worked from the 1930s until the end of the last century. And here, in the very same spaces where the SAFER company’s warehouses were, we’ve created 4 apartments and the “Whale’s Belly.” So, at SAFER, we added HOME, and here we are!

We love artists and those who don’t always think straight. We welcome guests from all over the world, convinced that Florence should be a cradle of art: not only from the past but also in the present and the future.

We want our guests to feel like locals, not just tourists. Ask us, we can advise you not only on museums and current exhibitions but also on historical places and gardens off the tourist maps. Or simply point you in the direction of where to eat or spend the evening.
